Normalization on Laut Banda PHB Channel Completed

Normalization on Jalan Laut Banda's connecting (PHB) channel and East Flood Canal's channel in Duren Sawit, East Jakarta are now completed. It is hoped they could prevent inundation in the area.

From total 652 meters, the open part is 310 meters long and the covered part is 342 meters

East Jakarta SDA Sub-dept. Head, Mustajab mentioned, PHB channel is normalized along 622 meters while East Flood Canal's channel is along 30 meters.

"Laut Banda PHB Channel and KBT crossing channel are integrated. Because water from PHB channel flows to KBT through this crossing channel. Normalization is completed and we just need to clean the remaining debris," he said, Wednesday (12/19).
